Ashley Hughes, LLMSW
Clinical Social Worker
As a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work, I have had rigorous training to assist with the healing of with many mental health issues. Working in both the inpatient hospital setting and the Eisenhower Center for Traumatic Brain Injuries have provided me with hands on experience to help with a variety of circumstances including but not limited to: Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Phobias, Sexual Identity, Gender Identity and Traumatic Brain Injury. I use a compassionate approach while drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Family Systems Therapy to best assist my clients’ needs. Together, we will work towards enhancing inner strengths, exploring problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, mindfulness, social skills, and becoming more comfortable with different emotions to understand oneself better overall. Every client is unique, and I believe therapy should be client-centric to be beneficial.
